While I’m not the biggest fan of Modern Art, the Tate Modern Gallery is a fun diversion on the South Bank of the Thames. Located directly across the river from St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern is located in a beautifully restored former power station.

This is one of the few attractions in London where the building itself is the attraction, not necessarily what’s inside. So, even if you don’t like Modern Art, you can still admire the beauty of the building itself.

Best visited on a stroll along the South Bank where you can see a lot of London and really get a feel for the River Thames.
