London is full of historic cathedrals and churches. St. Martin-in-the-Fields is one of London’s most famous and historic. There is evidence that a church has stood on this site since 1222. While the building that stands there today doesn’t date from 1222, it is still worth seeing. St. Martin-in-the Fields is a church, a music venue and has a beautiful crypt.

The church is very beautiful, and the cafe in the crypt is one of the most unique places in London to have lunch. However, my favorite thing to do at St. Martin-in-the-Fields is to go see a concert there. They often have chamber music concerts in the evenings. The acoustics in the church are amazing to hear live music.

St. Martin-in-the-Fields is a must see in London if you are planning a trip. Go and see the Church and the crypt but be sure to stick around for a concert. If you would like to attend a concert, make sure to buy your tickets ahead of time as they do sell out.
