Hyde Park is one of London’s most famous attactions. When we travel to London, our first stop is always Hyde Park. This beautiful and massive park is wonderful for taking a stroll after a long flight, just the remedy for jet lag. Aside from, the beautiful landscapes there are wonderful attractions within the park itself:

  • Speaker’s Corner: Speaker’s Corner is a unique attraction in the park where anyone can have a voice. All are welcome to speak publicly about any issue they’d like. It is great place to watch the speakers or participate if you would like. Speaker’s Corner is located on the Northeast corner of the park near the Marble Arch
  • Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial: This moving memorial is located on the Southwest Corner of the park. It is a wonderful fountain that pays tribute to the late Princess Diana.
  • The Serpentine: The Serpentine is a massive lake located in the park. It is a wonderful place to take a picnic to or rent a pedal boat (seasonal). We believe that this is one of the most beautiful places in the park, an absolute must see.
  • The 7/7 Memorial: This is one of the most moving memorials that Hyde Park has to offer. It was erected in memory of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of July 7 2005. Each life is represented by a steel pilliar. This is a truly moving memorial.

Hyde Park is massive and always has something new to share with us on each visit. You can download an interactive map of the park to plan your trip by clicking here.  It is by far one of our favorite attractions and an absolute must see.
